Simogo Celebrates 15 Years with Legacy Collection Launch on Steam and Nintendo Consoles

Simogo, the acclaimed game studio, is marking its 15th anniversary by launching a retrospective collection of its games on various platforms, including Steam and Nintendo consoles. The newly curated Simogo Legacy Collection, available on December 2, will feature all seven mobile games released by the studio between 2010 and 2015, such as the eerie adventure Year Walk and the innovative narrative experience Device 6. Priced at $15, this collection aims to preserve the essence of these original titles while ensuring they remain playable for future audiences.

Co-founder Simon Flesser expressed concern over the potential loss of their mobile games, stating that they faced the risk of becoming unplayable over time. The motivation behind the Legacy Collection is to maintain the integrity of the games as closely as possible to their original forms, with minimal alterations made for compatibility on PC and Nintendo platforms. Players can utilize touchscreen controls on the Switch and Switch 2 for a true-to-original experience, alongside added support for various input methods, including mice and controllers.

The collection comes packed with bonus content, which includes an ebook of Year Walk side stories, a dedicated podcast for The Sailor’s Dream, additional music tracks, and playable prototypes of the original games.

In addition to the Legacy Collection, Simogo is developing enhanced versions of its two most recent games, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, and Sayonara Wild Hearts, for the Switch 2, expected to release in early 2026. Simogo will also re-release Sayonara Wild Hearts on iOS next year, following its departure from Apple Arcade in 2024.

Moreover, the studio is collaborating with Lost in Cult to publish a coffee table book titled “Heartbeats, Dreams and Laser Eyes: 15 years of Simogo,” which will chronicle the studio’s history through approximately 250 pages of content. A deluxe edition featuring special collectibles will be available for pre-order, with expectations for shipping in late 2026.

As Simogo reflects on its journey, the studio not only preserves its past but also looks ahead to bring their beloved games to new audiences while celebrating their rich legacy in the gaming industry.
